Arpal
ARPAL is the Spanish asssociation that promotes aluminium packaging recycling. We work with government, media, trade and recycling associations, universities, schools, scrap dealers, entrepreneurs, etc. We participate in the Aluminium Packaging European Group, in Ecoembes (green dot in Spain) and Paisaje Limpio.
This is how we work:
– We train university volunteers that after will go to primary and secondary schools to teach and promote aluminium recycling among students.
– Annual research among aluminium scrap dealers to find out the real quantity of aluminium packaging that is recycled in Spain.
– We spread the aluminium recycle message in different events and work with government and other sister associations that promote recycling habits among citizens.
– We participate in trade fairs, conferences and other events.
– We print the Magazine Infoaluminio. We write news, articles and interviews related to the recycling of aluminum packaging through the Infoaluminio Magazine, which can be seen on the web.
